AIP Pasta sauce

This dairy free AIP Pasta Sauce is creamy, thick and has a delicious savoury taste. Made from vegetables and herbs it is super healthy, and quick to make for your AIP pasta dish.

AIP Pasta sauce

Time : 15 - 20 minutes

Yields : 1 cup


• 1 cup pumpkin

• 1 cup sweet potato

• 1/4 cup red onion

• 1/4 cup courgette

• 1 tsp turmeric

• 1 - 2 fresh garlic cloves

• 2 - 3 tbsp fresh herbs, rosemary or thyme leaves

• 1/2 tsp salt

• 2/3 cup light coconut milk


  1. Chop the pumpkin and sweet potato into small cubes, and boil in a pot of water with a little salt until soft.

  2. Drain and leave to cool.

  3. Add all ingredients into a blender, and blend on high until you have a smooth sauce.

  4. Taste, and add additional seasoning if needed.

  5. To use, pour the sauce over your pasta and gently eat through.


Transfer into a jar with a lid and keep refrigerated for up to 5 days.
